Is there a type of social software?

We are talking about the so-called social software or internal social media, a new tendency in internal communication that transfers the elements of Web 2.0 (wikis, RSS feeds, micro blogging, cloud storage (*)…) to the heart of businesses. And, if correctly used, increases productivity and team cohesion.

(*) Cloud computing is a paradigm that allows computing services over the Internet. It is an idea that incorporates the software as a service, as in the Web 2.0 and other recent concepts, also known as technological trends, which trust the Internet to satisfy the computing needs of users.
